Domain is already taken. Remove from the httpd.conf first.

    I'm trying to add a domain, even though deleted it says that it's already in use, remove from the httpd.conf first.

    Can someone point me in the step by step direction for removing this from the httpd.conf.

    Step by step would be nice.

    Hello,

    (Make sure first u Backup the httpd.conf file)

    pico /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
    press ctrl+w
    enter your domain name and carefully remove the VirtualHost Entry from the file. save the file ctrl+x and the retstart apache.
    /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd restart.
