I set my server to allow 250 emails per hour per domain (Tweak settings). And set limit of 30 emails per connection (more than 30 will go to queue, non immediate delivery).

Today I realized an user with a virus that sent more than 550 messages in the same connection. The first 30 was delivered immediatly. All others went to queue. So, I saw the queue and blocked the IP (that was still sending emails in the same connection).

My question is: this is correct? Why Exim didnt block messages after the #250? Or Exim accepts all messages and, in the queue run, would discard them? I'm afraid about being blocked by some RBL if the rule didn't run when I'm not monitoring the queue graph ...
