    Hey Guys,

We have a WHM/cPanel server which is used for providing web hosting to our customers we named it abc.mydomain.com

now when I try to email any of the hosting customers from my email address polestar@mydomain.com the email is rejected. It is because the domain name of the server is abc.mydomain.com

any ideas on how to fix it?

    Thanks

Is polestar a cPanel account name? If yes, does polestar have an actual email account he setup and is logged into when sending the email? If polestar is an account name and he has logged into webmail from cPanel but has created no email account polestar@mydomain.com to send from, he's sending as the cPanel account user, who has no actual email address.

I'm only guessing here of course.
