Domain not suspending !!!

    Hello,

    I have a reseller, and when he tries to suspend an account, It does not suspend.

    I had to manually edit "/var/cpanel/users/username" and change the value of "SUSPENDED" to "0"

    Can some one let me know what could be the issue ?

    You perhaps need to check error logs of the cPanel. If it does not show any logs, then better to ask cPanel to have a look. Bytheway, what build of cPanel you run on the server?

    Please check the output of the cPanel error log when you attempt to suspend the account. The cPanel error log is located at:

    Code:
    # /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log
    Paste any specific errors related to the suspension here so we can get a better idea of the exact issue.

    Hello,

    Also, you mention this is happening to the reseller, but is this not happening for the root user when suspending the account then? If only the reseller is having the issue and you cannot track it down or obtain any errors in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log on his suspension attempts, please submit a ticket to us using the link in my signature.

    In the ticket, please provide the root login credentials for the machine for SSH and WHM, the reseller username and reseller password for WHM as well as the domain that is trying to be suspended. Please post the ticket number here if you end up submitting one.
