    Hi All,

I’m new to the forums page as my hosting support can’t help me

This is the problem I have -
    mydomain.co.uk (loads the site)
mydomain.co.uk/new-site (i have to type this in manually)

    I don’t want a redirect to /new-site

Is there a way I can set /new-site to load up as the default?

    many thanks
    shaun

    Hello,

Do you plan on replacing the files in public_html with those in public_html/new-site? If so, then you would need to move/copy the files from new-site back to public_html. If you're using any type of CRM (WordPress, Joomla, etc..) then you would also need to update the database entry to point to the new URL.

If you don't plan on replacing the files, then a redirect is the only way to accomplish what you want.
