Domain redirecting to /cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

evening everyone. I have an issue. I just registered my domain and uploaded my wordpress site using winscp to cpanel. Problem is, I am getting server IP address could not be found even though i seem to have done everything right. Please help.
