Dear Cpanel Members,

Please kindly help to resolve my problem.
I have a domain. let's say domain name is abcd.com
It is registered at WHM/Cpanel server with default nameserver of the WHM/Cpanel is ns1.myserver.com and ns2.myserver.com
I also have amazon route 53 for hosted zone abcd.com with name server ns-1.awsdns1.co.uk , ns-2.awsdns2.com and ns-3.awsdns3.net

Could i use all of those name server to my abcd.com domain?
My goals is to make this domain has minimum downtime when someone accessing to my domain.

Thank you so much for your kind help.

Hey there! I read through the Route 53 FAQs here:

and if I am understanding things correctly, this is designed to be an independent DNS service. While you could technically use both sets of nameservers by entering the correct nameserver details at the registrar level, I believe that would just add to the confusion since you'd be maintaining two sets of DNS zones anytime there is a change.

cPanel does offer DNS Clustering tools at outlined here:

but that requires multiple servers that you own and manage and isn't something you could link to Route 53.

I hope that answered the question for you, but let me know if you need anything else!
