    Hi, we just did setup our new server , which have "cpanel" previous we had no cpanel

    We have 2 types of domains

    1. Normal domains
    • /home/username1/
    • /home/username2/
    • /home/username3/
    • /home/username4/

    2. Special domains

    we have arround 90 of those domains, all those need to be forwarded to ONE and the SAME location (without any username)
    for example, they would need to be forwarded to
    • domain1.com --> /home/userX/www_root/users/
    • domain2.com --> /home/userX/www_root/users/
    • domain3.com --> /home/userX/www_root/users/
    • domain4.com --> /home/userX/www_root/users/

    My Question: Would we be able to choose like with different "packages" or different "reseller" accounts so we are able to choose for a "normal" OR "special" domain?

    Kindly Regards, Laure

    Virtual Host

    As far i am aware, you cannot set a different wwwacct for different resellers, however wwwacct would be overwritten in updates and i think daily too

    Maybe there is a solution by adding some line in the "package" builder and edit this package file with shell access, but u would need some expert for this

    I will think this a some interesting thread that seems interesting to me, incase its possible for reseller accounts

    Thank u for the quick response, i will try to find out about this package

    i did create a testpackage and found it back in

    /var/cpanel/packages/

    the content is as follow,

    but i cannot find anything to do with "virtual host" anyhow any idea if i could add a line here so it defines the "virtual host" location

    I think you can configure that in /etc/passwd
