Nameservers Issue

Hello,

I searched the forums for a thread containing information or similar problems regarding mine, however, I have not had any luck. If I missed somthing I am truly sorry for starting a new thread.

Anyway, in WHM I set-up my nameservers (dns1.eternalhosting.net and dns2.eternalhosting.net) and assigned them each they're own IP and an A Entry. As for the domain "eternalhosting.net" it is registered with Omnis. For "Host Servers" I put in the correct IPs as well as the as the correct hostnames. So I have it set-up on the server as well as on my domain, yet none of the domains are working with my server. Is there a step I forgot or somthing that sounds incorect?

I would apreciate any help :).

How long ago did you set up the hostnames and delegate the domain to the new dns servers? It can take up to 48 hours for the changes to replicate across the entire web.

PS. Have a look at www.dnsreport.com. It's indicating that your nameservers are "lame".
I suspect that they may not be properly "bound" or "glued" to you IP addresses.

Try double-checking that the hostnames have been set up correctly via your domain name administration

Looking at that data from dnsreports, I played with a couple things and now all
my domains are working fine. I'm not sure what exactly was wrong, but thanks for your help :)

I have, as of yet, to figure out the technical details behind this but I two were having the same problems and receiving the same reports from dnsreports. From shell I launched the following command and the DNS kicked on instantly. My reports also began passing.

Code:
/etc/init.d/named restart
