I seem to be having a similar problem. The domain is not resolving, no ping, nothing. But whois/arins search shows the domain, shows the opening page (actually lack thereof on purpose), and shows the nameservers exactly as it should.

But it will not resolve when calling it up.

This box is setup exactly the same as any other I have. I have removed and added the accounts several times and reinstalled bind (which solved another problem I did not know existed) . I have actually started completely over twice and no go on the domain resolving. very confused

Any additional suggestions or ideas would be most appreciated

well I stand corrected. It does not ping although it will pull up on a whois shown pointing at correct nameservers. If I pull a whois at at whois.sc it even shows an image of the directory page http://www.whois.sc/malwarebytes.us

    malwarebytes.us

I've checked and rechecked settings. I have removed and added accounts, I have rebuilt nearly everything on the server and it still will not work. I've done everything exactlty the same as I on each of the other 3 boxes I run. I have either missed something cause I'm on this too long or something is broke.

openSRS lookup times out on a lookup

can't find the name servers ns1.net-integration.net and ns2.net-integration.net on ns lookup

Through the ip, it works with both name servers so I think the problem must be somewhere at the nameserver domain resolution if it works through the Name Servers IP

but what ? The nameservers are pointing at the IP's for at least 2 weeks now.... arghh
