Is there a possibility to stop such emails to the user? I guess it's something with the horde, isn't it?

Subject: DON'T DELETE THIS MESSAGE -- FOLDER INTERNAL DATA

This text is part of the internal format of your mail folder, and is not
a real message. It is created automatically by the mail system
software.
If deleted, important folder data will be lost, and it will be
re-created
with the data reset to initial values.

Would be nice cause our customers don't like it.

Thanks.

Thanks for your answer. Do you know which setting in the horde is activating this email. I didn't find it out yet. I use horde and also outlook and I don't get this message at all. Would be good to know.

The email is the result of switching from an imap client to a pop3 client. If the customer wants it to stop, they need to setup their email client, such as Outlook Express, Eudora, etc, to use imap and not pop3. That way both the webmail and the download client are using the same protocol. The email should go away.

This is not a cpanel issue but is systematic to any system where the user switches between imap and pop3 protocol. It doesn't always happen on every switch, but it is enough to be annoying.

Thank you. I also noticed that I don't have this problem on all accounts but a few. For example I use webmail (horde) and POP3. :) Anyway thanks for the help.
