I booked a domain in .asia, phoenixtech.asia and tried to host it through a cpanel, but that promptly refused to let me set up a website. Is there some inherent problem with working with .asia domains? What can be done to set it right?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "but that promptly refused to let me set up a website." Did you encounter any error messages, was it that phoenixtech.asia wasn't resolving to your cPanel server and/or was it something else that was happening when you attempted this?
