download copy of backup database

    I can easily and succeed in create database backup through phpMyAdmin in cPnale but when move to cPnale Backups section to Download a MySQL Database Backup which i crate , i not succeed in downloading it and only small .sql.gz file with 20 byte downloaded

    how can i solve this problem , although that not happen with me before and i succeeded many time in download database backup

    Silly question if you don't mind. Did you unpack the compressed archive after downloading it to check size, and the contents of the .SQL file itself?

    I'm not able to duplicate the issue on this end.

    no the downloaded file is corrupted and the size of compressed archive 20 byte

    Same problem here. The error in the log file /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log:

    Is this cPanel a default cPanel setup, in that you're not using any sort of addon like RVskin for example?


    What tier of cPanel is your server on?

    WHM VPS Optimized is installed with default options, no RVskin installed.
    WHM 11.38.0 (build 18)
    With your current Update Settings, you will be upgrading to the latest release build.

    The backups is working well for small databases. The database dump to be backed up is about 200 MB uncompressed. It was working well before the last cpanel update.

    Hi rsilviu,

    From your WHM, top right corner is a small icon that looks like a life preserver. Please click that and then select Contact cPanel. Open a ticket about this and lets have cPanel Technical Support take a closer look for you.
