Download WHM Backups

I'm using legacy backup for some of my sites, and i noticed that i can chose to restore monthly daily or weekly, but i don't see an option to download those backups or to chose which backup by date.

You can download "System Backups" directly from the "Backup" option within cPanel for the account. Could you elaborate on how you prefer to choose a backup by date?

ive been backing up daily via whm and not through the account's cpanel itself. i want a page that says these are your backups from last month. which one do you want to download.

Assuming you mean you want to be able to do this as root, via WHM. That's not possible.
