Hi

I am trying to download my site backup using Cpanel backup wizard. The file size is very large therefore, I wanted to use any download manager to support pause/resume option and get better downloading speed. Unfortunately, when I try to download it using IDM (Internet Download Manager) it requires authentication. When I enter my cpanel login credentials, it does not accept them. However, I use same credentials to login my cpanel and download my backup from browser.

I have tried downloading from browser but the file size is huge. Once downloading stucked in between and then wasted. On my other attempt, the file was almost completed but my cpanel was logout due to session time out and downloading stopped.

Please let me know the way by which I can download my site backup without interruption.

p.s: I want to download my backup and upload it on my new hosting. Any other way around will work too.

TIA :)

Hello,

I recommend using FTP to download the backup archive instead. It's stored in the /home/$username/ directory once the backup is generated.

Thank you.
