    Hello, hopefully someonecan help with this. All of the add-on domains on one of my servers have duplicate records and are reporting "cannot find the owner of that domain" when trying to retrieve mail from an addon domain.

    When you go into ausers CP and click addon domains, you will see every addon is listed twice, and I cannot delete any of them.

    Thanks.

    After looking into this further, it appears that none of the addon domains that were ever configured on the server have an entry in /etc/userdomains.

    Is there a script that can run to regenerate that file?
    I tried /scripts/updateuserdomains but that didn'tdo anything.

    Odd.

    Have you checked that the addon domains are listed correctly in each users /var/cpanel/users/* account file? Each one should be in the format:

    DNSXX=domain.com

    Where XX is an inrementing number. If any of them have XDNS instead of DNS then they're effectively commented out.

    There are duplicate entries for all the add-on domains within a users cpanel file in var/cpanel/users.

    if I remove one them and then do a /scripts/updateuserdomains the domain gets really screwed up, and I have to restore it from backup. Here is what a sample filelooks like:

    STARTDATE=1118733783
    DNS=domain1.ca
    RS=x
    OWNER=root
    PLAN=v2-p-professional
    BWLIMIT=52428800000
    MAXSQL=5
    MAXPOP=25
    MAXPARK=unlimited
    MAXADDON=2
    FEATURELIST=default
    DNS3=domain2.domain1.ca
    DNS4=domain2.net
    DNS5=marc.domain2.net
    DNS6=domain2.domain1.ca
    DNS7=domain2.net
    XDNS2=testdirectory.domain1.ca
    XDNS3=marc.domain1.ca
    XDNS4=gary.domain2.net
