Hello: I have a domain xxx and I want to duplicate all its content (files, database and email account) on the same server. Is it possible through cPanel directly? Thank you

well , there is no such function which creates copy of a website or a domain in cpanel however just generate a full back up of the website through cpanel which will have all the contents like files , database and email accounts and by creating another domain / website under different user account than the source website you can use those contents.

    Hello @Carlos Rayon,

It's not possible to duplicate an account directly, but you could create a full backup of an account using /scripts/pkgacct. EX:

    Code:
    /scripts/pkgacct username
Assuming no aliases or addon domain names are added under the account, you can then modify the existing account's domain and username to something different using WHM >> Modify An Account. Once you do that, restore the account from the backup you generated using the /scripts/restorepkg command. EX:

    Code:
    /scripts/restorepkg /path/to/cpmove-$account.tar.gz
This will leave you with two accounts with the same content (though with different domains and usernames).

    Thank you.
