    Hi,

    One of our users having trouble with deleteing some e-mail address. The domain is moved to an other user, so I'm getting error deleting the email address. I'm getting either "Account does not exists" on the main e-mail page, and this from the no JS page:

    The e-mail address postmaster@mydomain.hu deleted successfully.
    Sorry, you do not have access to the domain mydomain.hu

    Moving back the domain to the user is not an option. How can I delete the addresses? Manually or automatically? Is this a bug? ( users shouldn't have addresses with domains that is not owned by them!)

    Cheers!

    So that we can more accurately diagnose the issue, please let us know the following details (numbered for easier replying and readability):

    1.) What is the full cPanel version number? This may be obtained using cPanel/WHM or using the following command via root SSH access:
    Code:
    # cat /usr/local/cpanel/version && echo
    2.) Was the domain moved recently, and if known, was the system using the same version of cPanel that is installed now, or was cPanel updated since the time the domain was moved between accounts?

    3.) Was the moved domain the primary/main domain of the original account, or was it a parked domain or an add-on domain?

    4.) What method was used to move the domain (e.g., via WHM Modify an Account to change the primary/main domain, or via cPanel to remove the parked or add-on domain)?

    5.) Where "domain.tld" represents the domain moved to another account and where "username" represents the affected cPanel account the domain was moved from, please let us know the output of the following commands:
    Code:
    # cat /home/username/etc/domain.tld/passwd
    # cat /home/username/etc/domain.tld/shadow
    # grep -in "domain.tld" /home/username/.cpanel/email_accounts.yaml

    Right, this happens when you move domains, like main domain to Park doman OR main domain to add-on domain and vice-versa. You need to make sure the entries are all correct under

    You may remove the domain entries from these directories and files manually.

    Cpanel version: 11.25.0-CURRENT_42399
    Domain was always on localhost, wasn't moved from other machine.

    Thanks for the reply, I'll try to remove it by hand than.

    That did the trick.

    /home/user/etc/domain.tld/passwd - empty
    /home/user/etc/domain.tld/shadow - empty
    /home/user/mail/domain.tld - empty

    /home/user/.cpanel/email_accounts.yaml ( only corresponding lines):
    Code:
    domain.tld:
         accounts: {}

         mtime: 123123123123

    Thanks!
