Has anyone else noticed this cropping up on their servers?

Just recently I had a client send ina support request where his e-mail filters were stopping all incoming mail. This wasn't so bad except that he couldn't delete the filter entries. I tried myself, and was also unsuccessful. I had to go and manually edit the home/usr/.filters file.
After I put out the client's fire, I went and tested this phenomena. Even on a new test account, I couldn’t delete the filters. I could create them, but they were persistent. I even deleted the “.filters” file, and when Cpanel recreated it to store the first filter, the problem started again. I CHMODed the file to 777, but I still couldn’t delete the filters through Cpanel.

    Any insights would be appreciated,

    Mike

    RE: e-mail filters won

    Dear Fillos,

    Try editing both the files

    /etc/vfilters
    /home/user/.filter

    Regards,

    Hey Mickey,

Thanks for the response. I got that part by searching the forums, and it sure did help. I was hoping someone could tell me how to resolve it so the vlient coud delete them, but according to CPanel, its a bug in th x-skin.

    Thanks for your help though!

    Mike
