    Hello.

We recently changed the nameservers of the server.
Everything was fine. But some of the sites were not seen with http://www. while without the www they were ok.
Our hosting company did the change of the nameservers. They told me to remove all sites DNS zones and to add them again. I tried this with 2 sites. This fixed the problem.
Yesterday I decided to do the same with the other sites.
I removed them from WHM - I deleted the DNS zone for 1 site. Then I added a DNS zone with the domain and IP. I did this for all sites except the first 2 that I changed last week.
All of those sites are on 1 shared IP.
The sites are online. But I can't send or receive e-mails.
This is the message I received when I tried to send an e-mail to one of the site's e-mail addresses from my personal ISP mail:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at smtp.myISP.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

    <webmaster@mydomain>:
    65.254..... does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 550-"The recipient cannot be verified. Please check all recipients of this
550 message to verify they are valid."
    Giving up on 65.254.....

I'm lost. I contacted our hosting but they hadn't responsed yet.
    I couldn't send or receive e-mails.
    It was 24 hours ago.
I restarted the Mail Server (Exim), DNS/Name Server (BIND), POP3 Server (cppop).
    But this didn't help

I tried to find a solution but I only saw that this error comes from the DNS changes.
The sites are online and can be seen. Only the e-mails do nto work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

how long did you change the DNS values. It will take upto 72 hours to propogate fully. Also you should check the mail logs of both servers if it is possible, atleast one so that you will get a clear idea.

    Also try
    /scripts/mailperm on the recepient server.

Last week I didn't have this problem with the 2 sites I changed for the test.
    I'm in the WHM.
Where I can see the logs for the mail server? I see only download raw apache logs.

    Where do I write: /scripts/mailperm ?

    The recepient server is ours.

You need to login to the shell for that..

You will get the mail logs from

    tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog

Please verify that the entry for the domain is in /etc/localdomains.

Also in the exim configuration editor, deselect the option

    >> Verify the existance of email senders. though it is not a very good idea.. but still you can try that way.

When I'm in shell and with the root username and password I have to type /etc/localdomains - right?

You can use cat command to see the file on the shell. Else you may use the any editors like the vi. I guess you are not so experienced in using SSH or server administration. if you are not confident, please do get somebody's help to get it done.

I contacted our hosting 24 hours ago. I suppose they have some problems as they usually respond within 2-5 hours.
This was the reason I decided to try it myself.
I want to learn how to do it so I won't be so hopeless next time.
