I'm trying to build a new server to migrate my existing server to Centos OS 7 but installing Cpanel I'm getting this error

Code:
'/usr/local/cpanel/rpm_downloads/cpanel-perl-528-Unix-Sysexits-0.06-1.cp1178.x86_64.rpm' but the file is zero bytes at ./updatenow.static line 45060.
[2019-08-05 09:23:50 -0500] The Administrator will be notified to review this output when this script completes
[2019-08-05 09:23:50 -0500] E Retrying download of cpanel-perl-528-Unix-Sysexits-0.06-1.cp1178.x86_64.rpm (attempt 4/5): Tried to download 'http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/RPM/11.78/centos/7/x86_64/cpanel-perl-528-Unix-Sysexits-0.06-1.cp1178.x86_64.rpm' to '/usr/local/cpanel/rpm_downloads/cpanel-perl-528-Unix-Sysexits-0.06-1.cp1178.x86_64.rpm' but the file is zero bytes at ./updatenow.static line 45060.

It goes through multiple mirrors and doesn't proceed.

Can really use some advice.

Thanks in advance
Joe

Hello Joe,

Can you open a support ticket so we can take a closer look to see what's preventing the installation from succeeding? If you're unable to open a ticket directly due the lack of a support ID, you can email [email protected]t directly and request they direct your request to Technical Support for additional investigation.

Thank you.

Hi jbourque,

Sometimes there are several reasons why your RPM installations may fail. If the IP of the mirror serving the update files was blocked by the firewall unblock it. or If it's due to RPM corrupt databases. You will need to install a clean set before you can continue to update your cPanel server.
cpanel-perl-528-Unix-Sysexits-0.06-1.cp1178.x86_64.rpm - actual file size 7.09KB

Move the old RPM database mkdir /root/old_rpm_dbs/
mv /var/lib/rpm/__db* /root/old_rpm_dbs/

Now rebuild the RPM database
rpm --rebuilddb

you can force an update of the cPanel server
/scripts/upcp --force suggest attempting the installation again.

Thanks everyone I was able to figure it out, I am building the new server from home and my local netgear firewall was blocking the word sex therefore blocking Sysexits rpm.
