EA 4 Customization - custom templates

    Advanced Apache Configuration - EasyApache 4 - cPanel Documentation
    • Any custom templates in the /var/cpanel/templates/apache2_4/ directory

    /var/cpanel/templates/apache2_4/ea4_main.default
    /var/cpanel/templates/apache2_4/ssl_vhost.default
    /var/cpanel/templates/apache2_4/vhost.default


    I do changes in he above 3 files. But the when the new version of easy apache 4 is installed, my changes is removing from these files. (these files are reset to the cpanel default changes) Everytime after upgrade easy apache 4 this problem occurs. I constrained everytime to do changes in these files manually again.

    How can i do that the new version of easy apache 4 is installed, my changes i do is is not change from these files?

    Hi @hackboys

    You can not edit the existing templates, they will be overwritten. I checked over the documentation and it does not indicate that you should do this either. The documentation you should check out is: Custom Templates - EasyApache - cPanel Documentation

    Which gives step by step instructions on how to create custom Apache Templates.
