    Hello!
    After creating an addon domain I saw that the .htaccess which was automatically generated has the following snippet:

    Code:
    # php -- BEGIN cPanel-generated handler, do not edit
    # Set the “ea-php56” package as the default “PHP” programming language.
    <IfModule mime_module>
      AddType application/x-httpd-ea-php56 .php .php5 .phtml
    </IfModule>
    # php -- END cPanel-generated handler, do not edit
    What is it needed for? I'm asking because my previous 2 cpanel accounts didn't have that entry.

    Code:
    /etc/redhat-release:CloudLinux release 7.3 (Yury Malyshev)
    /usr/local/cpanel/version:11.64.0.36
    /var/cpanel/envtype:standard
    CPANEL=release

    This is what you do when you make a custom php version for your account.

    It is not a problem.
