I've definitely had a bad experience on my switch attempt; And I am not planning on attempting another switch until I get v60

Though I found a link in the deprecation article leading to another article "5 Reasons You Want to be Using EasyApache 4" which got me concerned as I really do not want my Apache/PHP ...etc to be updated automatically (Losing control over the webstack isn't favorable for me)

So this will need a guide on how to prevent cPanel from updating these packages & how can I update manually when/if I want to.

    Hello @aanbar,

You can browse to "WHM >> Update Preferences" and set "Operating System Package Updates" to "Manual Updates Only".
