I am advised by my server support that upgrading from EA3 to EA4 causes MySQL issues where the database passwords are not recognised and sites get broken.
Can anyone advise on this issue pleased???

    Hello,

I've not seen this as a common issue with the EA3->EA4 migration. What version of cPanel and MySQL are you currently using?

I also want to point out that we do encourage you to move to EA4 as we will be stopping support for EA3 in December of this year. If you have any issues with the migration at all I would encourage you to open a ticket using the link in my signature. If you do open a ticket please post the ticket number here so that we can track the progress.

    Thank you!
