Hello,

I am going to migrate the accounts from a server to new hardware with the Transfer Tool (using the "Live Transfer" option) and I have a few questions regarding EA4.

A few pieces of information:
- it's a shared hosting server (hundreds of accounts)
- the PHP handler on the source server is suPHP for all PHP versions (no FPM)
- due to high diversity of the sites on the server we need to use legacy PHP versions; we'll install PHP Selector sometime in the future but for now we have to rely on ea-php, preferably down to PHP 5.1
- the source and destination servers use/will use CloudLinux (for CageFS and resource limits) and LiteSpeed (with LSWCP)

I have a few questions:
- is there any prebuilt profile suitable for this (especially for suPHP) so that we don't encounter incompatibilities upon migration?
- what IonCube versions should we use? there are 4 ioncube versions for each PHP version
- is there an advisable order for installing CloudLinux and LiteSpeed? Which would be best to be installed first?

Thanks!

I suggest you to copy the existing service configurations using Transfer Tools prior the migration so you can match the same config as you have on the current server and avoid any incompatibilities.

What @andrew.n said is the best plan. Transfer Tool will give you an option to move the EA4 configuration over to the new server, so if you do that you'll be sure your PHP setup is the same on the new system. You can find more details on this here:
