    Hi!
    google responded 1 result to my error problem... on an arabian website!!! :(

    maybe someone knows a solution?!

    i had problems with apache updating since beginning of the software. about 99% of building/compiling results in errors. so i use it very rarely. i am still working with apache 1.3.37 and (php 4.4.7, mysql 4.1) ...and i know why!!?
    ...what a nightmare!!!

    here is my latest one...
    apache_conf_distiller --update failed with exit code '2304'
    Code:
    If the browser window is closed or stopped the build will continue in the background.
    The build output should start shortly...

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Ending apache_conf_distiller. No changes have been made. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    $Cpanel::AdvConfig::apache::directives::items{'adddescription'} failure.
    Unable to match directive adddescription's values for line: AddDescription "tar compressed archive" .tar
    The directive's syntax is unknown to the distiller. If you are certain the syntax is valid then please contact cPanel support to have this issue remedied. Please refer to this message when making your query. Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!
    '/usr/local/cpanel/bin/apache_conf_distiller --update' failed with exit code '2304' !! -process complete-

    The entire verbose build output is available in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/easy/apache/build.1212507862

    If the server does not have enough memory to run the build via a browser (IE if you get "Out of memory" errors below) then you will have to do the build via command line with /scripts/easyapache.

    EA3 is fairly reliable and stable on most servers nowadays. I recommend having one of our technical analysts take a look at your server to figure out why it's giving you so many problems as that is abnormal: http://tickets.cPanel.net/submit
