    Hello :)

That error message typically indicates there is a problem with your system package manager (YUM in most cases). I suggest using the following command to check for any specific error messages:

    Code:
    # yum update
Compare any error message to the list we have at:

EasyApache "Could not ensure pkglist" Error

The above URL has a list of the common error messages you will encounter and lists the steps you can take to resolve them.

    Thank you.

This error typically indicates that the mirrors listed in your /etc/yum.repos.d/ are out of date or temporarily unavailable. If the mirrors are in the process of syncing, this issue may correct itself after a short time. If not, you may need to update the list of mirrors Yum is using. Check with your operating system vendor (e.g. CentOS, RedHat) for a more recent repo list.

    Thank you.

    I repaired yum
but cant using yum or use EASY PHP

    this is detail

I have a cPanel server I want to install some packages on. I connected to the server as root and ran the following commands to update and delete all the existing repositories:

    yum update
    yum clean all
    rm -f /etc/yum.repos.d/*
    rm -rf /var/cache/yum/*

My last command was to install the PDO PHP module, but that's when I got an error:

    root@linux [~/TMP]# pecl install pdo
WARNING: "pecl/PDO" is deprecated in favor of "channel://http://svn.php.net/viewvc/php/php-src/trunk/ext/pdo//ext/PDO"

    ERROR: `/root/tmp/pear/PDO/configure' failed
root@linux [~/TMP]# pecl install bdoNo releases available for package "pecl.php.net/bdo"
    install failed

Also, when I run yum install php*, after checking dependencies I get this:

    --> Finished Dependency Resolution
    Error: Package: rrdtool-php-1.3.8-6.el6.x86_64 (base)
    Requires: php(zend-abi) = 20090626

    Edit: I uploaded my config.log (/http://pastebin.com/3MRNQJdk) and config.status (/http://pastebin.com/tES5MeHb) files

What causes this error? How can I fix it?

    please help us
if dont resolved this problem we must reinstall new centos and cpanel

First of all, why are you installing php via yum when it is installed on cPanel machines using EasyApache (/scripts/easyapache in command line or WHM > EasyApache (Apache Update))?

Next, does "yum update" work now as normally you should not remove the repos.d directory nor the cache. I'm uncertain why rm commands were used.
