OK, Well I never really understood why cPanel used to do this, but in my old httpd.conf file I had a BytesLog directive inside every virtualhost. After running EasyApache, now not only have BytesLog directives disappeared from the httpd.conf, but it actually causes the following syntax error when I try to put a BytesLog directive into a VirtualHost block I'm inserting in one of the Includes:

--- Syntax error on line 12 of /usr/local/apache/conf/includes/pre_virtualhost_global.conf: Invalid command 'BytesLog', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration ---

Has cPanel done away with the BytesLog directive? I read somewhere that it was specific to cPanel. What's the deal?

This will occur if you enabled the Piped Logging Configuration found in WHM >> Service Configuration >> Apache Configuration.
