easyapache compile issue

Anyone else having difficulty compiling PHP modules with the new easyapache script?

PHP does not compile

We also can not compile PHP with curl curl-ssl or GD modules. As the script runs modules seem to compile but, then no modules listed in the output of phpinfo().

Only Failsafe mode (Resets apache config to default, USE ONLY AS A LAST RESORT) option works safe and sound.
