EasyApache Problem with HTTPS

Hello , when i click on WHM => EasyApache ( apache update ) , i get no UI opened , but just window to download the file easyapache.pl .

in other words , easyapache.pl links in whm want to download not execute

/https://IP:2087/cpsessxxxxxx/cgi/easyapache.pl?action=_pre_cpanel_sync_screen


No error is logged in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log

And /scripts/upcp --force dont resolve the issue .

Please help .

In case someone else encounter the same problem :

the issue is solved if you enter without https

or f you enter to WHM with https with valid SSL certificate , not with whm self building certificate .

This is a known problem when accessing EasyApache via whm.example.com. Using example.com/whm or example.com:2087 will allow use of EasyApache without the problem. We are currently pursuing a fix in case 74949.

I inferred from the second post of this thread that proxy subdomains were not in use when this issue was triggered. However, per the ticket, that does appear to be the case. As mentioned by Kenneth, an internal case is open to address the issue. The existing thread for that case can be found at:
