Hi there everyone,

Well, 25 sites into my server migration, I finally realized that I am missing CURL :)

I found via the forum the method you would use to rebuild Apache with CURL, but before I did that I wanted to ask a couple questions, if I could:

1) Should I be using EasyApache to do this or is another method better for a stock new cPanel install?

2) Will I lose all of my PHP changes, additions and settings? (I had the configserver package installed, a large portion of which had to do with PHP hardening and additional modules added)

Any thoughts and suggestions would be very welcome.

thanks,

EasyApache is the best method of installing Apache and PHP modules such as Curl on a cPanel/WHM system.

Running EasyApache on a stock cPanel/WHM server will not cause you to lose changes to php.ini, how PHP is run etc. If you have previously manually compiled in a module, that module may not be present when PHP is recompiled via EasyApache.

I am not familiar with ConfigServer's package, so your questions about their software would best be addressed directly to them.
