I have a quick question, with EA3 I don't seem to find the tickbox for PhpSuexec like the previous apache update tool. Did they rename it?

I understand it doesn't work or is not supported with Apache 2.x, but I'm building 1.3 and still don't find a phpsuexec tickbox anywhere in the grand config through WHM/Apache Update.

PHPSuExec has been replaced with SuPHP in EA3. You can find this entry under Apache (all versions) as "Mod SuPHP."

Is there a guide anywhere with regards to the new EasyApache script?

It used to be pretty easy and straight forward, but now it just seems to be bloated (at least to me) with extra crap and a less than easy command line interface.

Any helpfiles related to EasyApache 3 would be apprecaited.
You can also use EA3 via WHM -> Software -> Apache Update.

A more in-depth guide is available at: http://www.cpanel.net/products/cPanelandWHM/linux/cpanel11/apache_config_system_final.pdf

yeah, i ran a few server upgrades through the WHM interface.. not as awful. I guess my next task is to export my saved configuration and put it on whatever server I want to upgrade, and then run that task.

As for the link to the PDF file - went through it alredy.. was looking for more of a description of what each option was doing.. I know there's question marks that link off to the various places, so I've been putting a mini list together for some of our other staff that take care of these upgrades or new server configurations.

Would also suggest going back to a ONE COLUMN format on the WHM interface.. that way nothing gets overlooked.

Keep in mind when you're assembling the list for your staff that the options you have are dependent upon which version of Apache (1.x vs 2.x) and which version of PHP (4.x.x vs. 5.x.x) you select.
