    Hi,

This is straight from a client, could somebody perhaps comment on this problem?

"“Edit zone templates” under “DNS functions” does not work – when a new “Addon Domain” is created the standard zone template is used, and not the new one that was created."

    Thanks

make sure you tell him to edit the "standard" template in WHM.

if it does not work post your WHM Cpanel version here and maybe also a copy of the content of the standard template.

    WHM 9.4.0 cPanel 9.4.1-R64

    from the client:

"Just to re-iterate: When creating a new account the standard template
are indeed being used, but when signing into the account's cpanel and
adding an addon domain the template are not being used for the addon
    domain."

Hi have the exact same error.

zone template modified by a reseller is not adapted when creating a new domain. The standard is still used.

I believe this is a bug.
