Editing DNS Settings doesnt work

Hello,

I use in my Cpanel/WHM installation the Nameservers of my Host, is that maybe the reason why all DNS changes in Cpanel dont work? I mean i can add Subdomains, Records and all that but nothing work. But when i make the same changes in my registrars panel it works.

Do i need to try to set my own Nameservers ns1.mydomain.com, ns1.mydomain.com and register them in my Registers panel, is this maybe the solution?
