Editing DNS Zone - Entries automatically appended with hostname

    I am trying to setup easy urls with google apps (mail.domain.com).

    In order to get mail.domain.com to point to google's servers I need to edit the CNAME entry for mail to point to ghs.google.com, but everytime I save it's saved as ghs.google.com.domain.com.

    How would I get it to stay as ghs.google.com?

    I've tried adding and modifying the entry, with the same result.

    What is your full cPanel version number?

    DataCenter Provider
    Make sure you put a trailing dot or bind will assume its a subdomain of the zone.
    ie

    ghs.google.com.
