    Recently, I started noticing this error when I try to edit HTML files via cPanel's file manager.
    This used to work before, but since a recent cPanel update it is now malfunctioning.

    This is the error;

    Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(/tmp/sess_447723786a7962878aa35b4040060fb6, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/wysiwygPro/core/libs/wproSession.class.php on line 301

    Does anyone have the same problem , and is there a easy fix?

    Regards,
    SXR

    Your permissions on /tmp are probably too strict

    chmod 1777 /tmp
