Just wondering if anyone might be able to help me out with this. I recently published a website using a template from my hosting service. I didn't like the meta tags so I wanted to edit them manually so search engines could find me easier. I went into file manager and public HTML area, edited the meta tags in the main hompage and saved it. My chages saved properly, but when I go to my website homepage and right click, then choose "view page source", it lists the old meta tags. For some reason the new ones aren't there. Does anyone know what may be causing this. I need for my website to have the proper meta tags listing so that google will find my website. Any help is greatly apprciated. Thanks.

There can be many causes for this. The common cause is that your browser has cached the page and thus is displaying an old version of the page. Therefore I recommend clearing your browser cache.

If you do that and still see the old page, I recommend you contact the company hosting your website as they can check their server logs to more swiftly resolve this issue.
