I have a client whose web site is hosted on our server. He has a second domain parked on that account. However, this second domain's dns is on another server which is pointing to my server for web. He uses this second domain for email and that's all being handled on that second server. So, suddenly, we cannont communicate with each other via email. It also means he won't be able to send email to anyone else on my server I assume.

I can change my SMTP server to use my ISP so I can send email to him, but his ISP is also the one where his domain dns and mail record are kept.

Is there anything I can do on my server to make this work?

You need to update the dns (mx) on your server to point to the IP of where he receives his email.
