email account can't login after move from other server

Yesterday I copy an account to a new server. Everything works as it should, with the exception that one email account can't login. I created a new mail account and is working fine.
I dont want to delete and recreate the account, because it is full of messages. I tried change password many times.

Check to see if there are entries for these email accounts in the following files:

/home/username/etc/domain.com/passwd
/home/username/etc/domain.com/shadow

You may need to backup the email data and re-create the email accounts if the entries in these files are missing. If they exist, do you notice any specific error messages in /var/log/maillog when you attempt to login?

If you see the entries in the passwd and shadow files, do you notice any specific error messages in /var/log/maillog when you attempt to login?
