email account disappeares when changing pass

    When changing the password for an email account in cpanel, the account disappeared from the current accounts listing under Email Accounts.

    The account is still there when looking in the mail folder for the client and also the passwd file contains the account, but it just won't show up on the listing of email accounts any more.

    Any ideas how to reset it. Trying to create a new account with the same name gives an error with info that the account already exists.

    Any help in how to reset the account so it shows up would be appreciated. It's the second time this happends in a couple of weeks.
