Email account missing after malware cleanup

hello, need help for my case. many email account not showing on " cpanel > email account " after malware infection to my vps. i already scan and clean all malware using 3rd party security software.

what i already did :
1. copy and restore mail folder from my last full cpanel backup -> not work
2. ask my provider to restore using my mail folder backup -> not work
3. try to add missing account but cpanel said error already exist the user
4. create new fresh account is working


problem,
1. should i just reset all email account on my cpanel? if yes, how to do it? (i give up my mail data can be saved)
2. any another suggestion for restore my user email account?

When you scanned and cleaned the malware did you make any changes to /home/$user/etc or /home/$user/.cpanel/? Namely, permissions/ownership changes?

Does /home/$user/.cpanel/email_accounts.json reflect all of the email accounts?
