I'm fairly new to cPanel so i'm not sure if I can change this or not.

I'm on a reseller hosting account using WHM and cPanel, I've created a subdomain account on WHM so they have access to cpanel, so they can create their own emails without me needing to do it for them.

But going into the cpanel for the subdomain the email accounts come up as: 'user@subdomain.mydomain.com' is there any way to change this so that they can create an email address like 'user@mydomain.com' or are they stuck like that?

The only way to do this would be to make the domain itself, instead of the subdomain, the account's main domain. Then you would have the option to make an e-mail account for either the domain itself or its subdomain. Since the account was created with the subdomain as its main domain, however, you can only create e-mail addresses for the subdomain.
