    Hello,

It seems there are some servers rejecting emails when the 'Mail From:' email id is not encapsulated in < >, How can I add this permanently so that all the sender ids are enclosed in < >.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Delete mails from blank senders

I don't mean to hijack this thread but if I delete all messages with from tag as <> (i.e. blanksender) from the Exim queue on my server, is it a justifiable act? Am I hurting my genuine users or just getting rid of some junk?

    I have used this -

    exiqgrep -i -f'^<>$' | xargs exim -Mrm

    Hi,

sorry but if you mean to help, blank senders is not my issue. Genuine users getting rejected because the 'Mail from' field is not encapsulated in "<>".

    Thanks
