Hi Everyone,

Recently I have been having issues with Global Email Filters which I have been using for over a decade now with no issues to redirect cpanel email accounts to a gmail account and then have gmail use that cpanel email account to send mail as.

I always use the following filter for each email account created within cpanel;

any header > contains > [email protected] > redirect to email > [email protected]

Then within Gmail settings I go to

settings > accounts and import > send mail as: > add another email address

and add [email protected] to send mail as: and set as the default reply email address fpr that gmail account.

I also add google to the existing spf record inside of cpanel's zone editor as a +include

v=spf1 ~all

Lately I have been finding that some of the new email accounts I have tried setting up this way are not sending or receiving emails. This is happening with more than one webhosting company as well which leads me to beleive that this must be a new cpanel bug.

For emails that are set up this way is anything of note present in the exim logs (if you have access) If you don't have access to the exim logs you can check at cPanel >>Email >> Track Delivery
