    Email Backup File

    Hi.

Sorry if this has been asked before, I have looked but I couldn't see anything about it !!

Currently my ISP backups my web space every evening.. I can also go into my cpanel and request a backup, then I can download it.

For my MySQL Databases, I have written 2 small php pages:

    1. That I run from a cron to get nightly backups emailed to me,
    2. I run from my browser and it creates a new backup and emails that to me.

So before I do anything on my MySQL database, I run a backup, get the email sent and I know I have the latest backup..

Is there anything similar for the web pages ??

I would like to be able to run a php page from my browser, and know that my files and folders (or selected files and folders) are backed up, gzipped and emailed to me..

    Can Anyone help ?

Any one.. Is this possible ??

I have problems downloading from my FTP server, it keeps hanging and having the backups emailed to me would be much easier !!

    Thanks
