Users want their unverified mail to their default/catchall email account (for some reason). I have 5 cpanel servers and 4 of them does exactly that: send the unverified emal to the catchall account. But the 5.th server just return this result:

    <user@domain.com>: host domain.con[xx.xx.xxx.xx] said: 550-"The recipient
cannot be verified. Please check all recipients of this 550 message to
verify they are valid." (in reply to RCPT TO command)

In the /etc/valiases/domain.com-file is one entry:
    *: username@domain.com

..and that should be ok. So - any idea whats wrong?

EDIT: The default email account (username@domain.com) does not work at all. Where's the missing configuration?

Try this in the valiases file:

    *: username

The domain name is not required.

    The valiases file is ok.

Somehow, this problem just disappeared.. Suddenly - after a couple of days - it works fine (without doing anything).
    Spooky!
