I'm a hosting reseller and soem of my customers report email delay. One even delay 7 days. I check the header of the email and found that it's been arrived on server few seconds later after being sent out but takes 7 days to go into the mailbox on server. My hosting company told me it's a file lock problem and seems not willing to do any thing on it. Are there anyone had similar problem and how can we get it fixed? Thanks.

try delivering the mail from whm (mail queue) and look at the error message.

You'll need to get your host to do what teck suggested since it's not an option in the reseller WHM.

Sorry, I misread and forgot you're a reseller. You're going to have to contact your host and have them manually deliver the email to see what errors it's giving, if any.

Tell them there is an option in WHM under Email that allows them to force deliver anyu messages in the queue

They can also edit the: /usr/sbin/antirelayd file, which is what I did. Works much better now. ;)

Thanks for all you help, better than what I've pay!

Actually after 1 day of the 7 days email delay, I got another report from another domain which has 16days delay! But my host seems still did not have some good reason for this. I'm reaaly disaponted with them and may go to WHT to find some new venders.

Anyone know a good VPS? Maybe if I can control every aspect then I can do it by myself or listening to all your great help.

What a bad Christmas day for me!
