I am seeing this error when trying to set this domain to automatically detect configuration
in the Edit MX Entry section. It is currently set to use Local Mail Exchanger. I see the below error
when trying to change this setting to any of the options. We are not using the DNS or Email
functions of the server. This is all pointed elsewhere any advice on getting this set or even
if it is necessary given that we are not using the DNS or Email functions on the server.
Thank you for any advice.

Hello,

You can delete and recreate the DNS zone if you have no local records to preserve (if the DNS is hosted externally without the use of the clustering feature):

"WHM >> DNS Functions >> Delete a DNS Zone"
"WHM >> DNS Functions >> Add a DNS Zone"

This should correct the issue with the zone that's preventing it from loading. Also, to note, you can manually remove the domain name from /etc/localdomains and place it in the /etc/remotedomains file if you want to ensure local email is routed to the remote mail server.

Thank you.
