    Hi,

I'm trying to change an email password for a given account but I get an "error" response without any details :(

I've tried restarting dovecot, the 'fixmailman' script and 'fixwebmail' script without any luck.

    The 'fixwebmail' script gives this:
chown: cannot access `/usr/local/etc/cpanel/base/webmail/data': No such file or directory
chmod: cannot access `/usr/local/etc/cpanel/base/webmail/data': No such file or directory

What else should I look into ?

    Thanks

for me, my /usr/local/etc/ is empty - it has no files or directories under it - but I guess you can do this:

create the base directory and anything needed below it
    mkdir -p /usr/local/etc/cpanel/base/webmail

create the data file as an empty file
    touch /usr/local/etc/cpanel/base/webmail/data

or if it should be a directory just do
    mkdir -p /usr/local/etc/cpanel/base/webmail/data

for errors you can check in
    /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log

or in the system messages log - Im not sure which one those scripts would log to, I would hope the cpanel error log though :)
